Pay My Bill
Thank you for using the City of Spencer online bill pay service. This is a convenient way to pay your City of Spencer charges, whether they were from a building permit or solid waste charge.
You will receive a separate invoice for each item that was charged to your City of Spencer account. Prior to making payment, if you have any questions regarding the charges on your account, please contact Accounts Receivable at 712-580-7200 ext. 214 during weekday business hours (8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
We recommend you have your billing statement or invoice in front of you as it will contain information that you will need to complete your payment. As always you may still submit a payment by mail with a check or stop by City Hall to pay with cash, check or credit card.
If you are using a debit card to complete this transaction and you experience difficulty, please remember that some financial institutions limit the total amount of daily transactions on debit cards. Please check with your bank to determine if there is a limit on your debit card.
Once you complete your transaction, you will receive a confirmation email thanking you for your payment. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us at 712-580-7200 during weekday business hours (8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
If you have multiple customer accounts with us, please pay each account separately to ensure that the payment is properly recorded against the correct account. You may pay more than one invoice at a time as long as it is on the same customer account.
